Me & My Vapor Pen

I know I've been absent from this blog for quite awhile now but my time has been unable to maintain. so, I just had to share this video with you all and maybe this might be my jump off again to paying attention to this blog a little more. Although, I do not promote or endorse any singular/specific products on this blog. I however, had to share my newest discovery with you. I have always struggled with my physical health but 2013 has proven to be my year of awakening. No longer comatose and ignorant to the thoughts that I will live forever, I have decided to also stop smoking as well as losing weight and I have to be honest when I tell you that this Vapor Pen has made it all possible.

I would also like to thank my beloved significant other Chandra for being my 2nd backbone and an unwavering inspiration to me and the reason I even decided to try this alternative.

1st Post of the Year - 1st Dinner of the Year

So many people think that when you correct your diet or follow someone else's diet plan that you can not enjoy any food. This is a New Year's Day meal that was 50/50 designed by me and my girlfriend. It is not the healthiest meal but it is much better than what I had last New Year's Day. I used red cabbage in my collard greens, no butter and turkey sausage instead of pork. My Girlfriend coated the chicken like she was going to fry it but instead just baked it. Now the black eye peas and just bad for me. We didn't change them at all. They have Brown sugar in them, a stick of butter and about the only change is turkey smoked sausage instead of a fat piece of pork.

The greatest park about all of this, is that I still enjoy eating most things I love. No, Soul Food does not dominate my menu any longer. I can not eat fried chicken 2/3 times a week, and you will never again catch me putting ice cream in my body anytime soon but I do still get to have some wonderful meals. I actually feel like I have more wonderful meals now than I ever did over the last few years.

Bottom line, eat big in 2013 guys. We will all be just fine. ;-)

One of the biggest misconceptions to regulating and improving your diet is that you must sacrifice taste. As I have said many times over again, I will put my simple dishes against any of you high calorie, high carb, Atkins BS diet meals anytime. I guarantee you that you will pass out from the taste explosion that can be created without salt, sugar, butter, cholesterol and all the other killers.

Days before I started the INSANITY Workout. I have already been on a strict low carb, low protein, low sodium, low potassium diet for 3 weeks but haven't started any work out plan yet. I want to see the improvement from week to week as I begin to shape this flab and loose skin.
